Partnerships

The Recon & Sniper Foundation

Mission Statement:

The Recon & Sniper Foundation’s mission is twofold; needs-based assistance and veteran community engagement. Using tenants from our Reconnaissance and Scout Sniper heritage, RSF assists current service members and veterans from all branches of the Armed Forces in their time of need and by facilitating events and activities that foster a continued sense of belonging and teamwork between veterans.

The Recon & Sniper Foundation Rawah Retreat

Our Rawah Ranch Retreat helps us provide veterans and active duty men and women a place to heal, reflect, and rediscover camaraderie with like minded individuals. Veterans often forget how healthy nature can be for the mind and body. Our partnership with Rawah Ranch allows Veterans to self-heal and reflect through a host of daily outdoor activities that facilitate outdoor therapy: hiking, horseback riding, target shooting, fly-fishing and others. We can truly say that lives have been saved and altered in positive ways because of Rawah Ranch.

Flylords

Flylords is a fly-fishing focused publication and media house. Led by a group of passionate anglers, their mission is to inspire other anglers by telling stories about the incredible places fly fishing can take you, the people they meet along the way, and how we can continue to protect our amazing resources.

Amulet Estate Logo

Amulet Estate is an understated, yet elegant, family-owned winery estate located in the Napa Valley on a legacy vineyard site within the northeastern corner of the St. Helena appellation, focused upon a single vineyard portfolio of traditional Cabernet Sauvignon wines from historic vineyards and heritage properties.

While located on a historic site which was formerly a horse ranch, Amulet Estate was acquired, renamed and reborn in 2016. The state-of-the-art winery, designed by Howard Backen, is positioned on the 20-acre estate to naturally blend in with the surrounding organically-farmed vineyards and forested hillsides, reinforcing the winery’s stewardship of, and commitment to, sustainability and the land.

With the goal of telling the bigger story about the Napa Valley, Amulet Estate produces estate wines from the St. Helena AVA, and diverse, single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon wines from several iconic, heritage vineyards located in nearby Napa Valley appellations including St. Helena, Rutherford, Oakville, Yountville and Stags Leap, as well as a Sonoma Coast Chardonnay.

Amulet Estate has intentionally evolved into a gathering place for visitors, that offers only winemaker led tours and cave tastings, a rare and profound experience that supports the foundation of extreme care, attention to detail and authenticity that runs through every aspect of the winery.

Authenticity is the foundation of Amulet Estate. The team, the farming, the winemaking and the educational hospitality were thoughtfully developed to provide an unparalleled and exceptional experience for consumers and visiting winery guests. The winery offers only private winemaker led tours and cave tastings by appointment, a rare and profound experience that supports the foundation of extreme care, attention to detail and authenticity that runs through every aspect of the winery. Amulet Estate’s tour takes guests through the working winery, providing a peek into the production activity of the day, before culminating in the intimate, candle-lit, tasting cave that features the wines, as well as educational conversation with the winemaker, bolstered with soil samples from each single vineyard site.

CARRI LOGO from Scott Rashid

CARRI

Carri is a non profit organization working to study birds of the Rocky Mountains with emphasis on hawks and owls. Our goal is to monitor the species’ natural history, abundance and survival success and passing that information on to the public in hopes of inspiring more people to becoming conservation-minded. Information gathering and data provided by CARRI to the local government agencies will also provide a stronger basis on how we all can be better stewards of Colorado Wildlife.

We are excited to work with Rawah Ranch to help the team better understand the bird life around them and further their stewardship of the animals and surrounding area. We are also hopeful that this partnership will provide more information on the Boreal Owl and if it indeed can be seen in this area and at this altitude.
