This Land is Our Land: Taking Strides to Care for Colorado

Fall colors at Rawah Ranch

As a longstanding member of the Colorado Dude and Guest Ranch Association (CDGRA), Rawah is excited to announce our recent partnership with the Colorado Tourism Office (CTO) and the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics in an unparalleled statewide effort to preserve our natural resources by educating and inspiring tourists to travel responsibly.

The CDGRA is one of three Colorado-based tourism organizations that’s joined the Leave No Trace initiative in January this year, and we’re proud to be among the first to pioneer this new educational effort.

As a partner, Rawah is committed to educating each of our guests about best practices and Leave No Trace policies before and during their guest ranch vacations. Members of our staff will also participate in annual education programs through CTO-sponsored trainings

Learn more about the initiative by watching this creative video!

And, make sure you’re Colo-Ready by getting up to speed on championed travel ethics outlined in the brochure below.

Why is this important to us? As ranchers and centuries-old stewards of our natural resources, we understand the vital importance of caring for the wilderness that has provided us with our backdrop since the beginning. It is our hope and goal to keep Colorado as majestic as ever, and we need your help in that cause.

So, join us at Rawah, and partner with us in preserving this wild and beautiful place we are so privileged to call home!
