Rawah Ranch welcomed a group of gentleman from the Recon and Sniper Foundation to spend a week at the ranch before the guest season started, despite the snow through the week this year, the guys made the best of their time here with loads of activities and volunteering to jump in and help anytime they could. The week they spent with us at Rawah gave them a chance to reconnect, relax and reset with the vast mountain views and wildlife in the Rawah Wilderness. This year the Recon and Sniper Foundation volunteered to help us with our big project of building a bridge across the river, that leads to the new and improved breakfast site out in our pasture; all while helping us to get the ranch opened up and ready for the season! This group of men were incredibly hard working and generous helping us clear trails and chop firewood to keep everyone toasty through the snow. Much of their time was spent participating in activities they greatly enjoyed mostly horseback riding, fly fishing, or shooting at our newly remodeled gun range . They spent many miles on the trails enjoying the company of each other while reconnecting with nature and the beauty of life. Here at Rawah Guest Ranch we welcome and support our troops, click here if you are interested in following up with the Recon & Sniper Foundation.
