Our private stretch of the legendary Big Laramie River meanders through the middle of the ranch, offering anglers of all abilities incredible fly fishing opportunities. Spend an early morning casting for rainbow, brown and brook trout and grayling just steps behind the Lodge. Or enjoy an easy morning of casting lessons, then head out before dinner for peaceful fishing at dusk. Each ranch getaway includes one half-day with your professional guide providing personal instruction, flies and all your terminal gear.
In addition to our hallmark stretch of the Big Laramie River, Rawah guests have access to stretches of the Poudre River and local lakes and creeks in the nearby Rawah Wildness area.

Throughout the week you’ll enjoy special events that give you a taste of the real cowboy west—spend a night camping under the stars with your horse grazing nearby, relish an evening of live country music by the fire in the Lodge, or keep in step line dancing at the Rawah Hoedown. Our younger guests will enjoy roasting hotdogs and marshmallows at the campfire cookout, and a Rawah favorite has become the outdoor cowboy breakfast of biscuits, eggs and bourbon bacon after a short ride across the ranch. Whatever your preference, there’s something for everyone in the group—we can’t wait for you to experience all Rawah has to offer.
