Colorado Fly Fishing: Big Laramie River & More

Our private 2 miles of the legendary Big Laramie River, also known as the “perfect trout stream” meanders carelessly right through the middle of our ranch, offering anglers of all ages and abilities unbelievable fly fishing opportunities.  Daily grand slams of rainbow, brown, and brook trout are not uncommon-in fact they are becoming a regular occurrence. After a great breakfast by the fire at the lodge, schedule a casting class or step right into the river from the porch.  Cast flies with your professional fly fishing guide in solitude to ferocious rainbows and wily brown trout.  When you are ready, head back to the lodge for lunch.  Spend an afternoon or evening as the sun sets over Rawah Peaks casting flies to grayling in one of our nearby Stillwater fisheries.  Travel with my professional fly fishing guides, on gentle proven mountain horses or on foot into the Rawah Wilderness and fish for Colorado’s only native trout, the elusive Greenback Cutthroat, in one of a dozen “seldom seen” high country lakes.  Combine Rawah’s home waters with our exclusive access to private wild waters in nearby North Park and create an unparalleled “Western Sampler” on coveted waters such as the North Platte, North Fork of the North Platte, the Michigan and the Canadian rivers.  If you don’t feel like walking and wading, reserve the drift boat and spend a day floating down the “legendary” Grey Reef section of the North Platte River in Wyoming.  It would honestly take all summer to step in to all of the water we work in.  Your choice.  All guided.  All catch and release.  All private.

Guided Fly Fishing Day Rates*:

• 1 angler                            $325.00 per day
• 2 anglers                           $445.00 per day
• 3 anglers                           $625.00 per day
• 4 anglers                           $725.00 per day
• 5 or more please call for group rates.

*Guided Day Rate includes: Guide(s), Flies, Terminal Gear and Lunch.

Multi-Day All Inclusive Guided Fly-Fishing Rates:

• Adult  18+                         $525.00 per day
• Teen 13 – 17                      $375.00 per day
• Child 12/under                  $275.00 per day

*Multi-Day All Inclusive Guided Fly-Fishing Rate includes:  All lodging, all Rawah Ranch activities and amenities, all meals, housekeeping, Guide(s), Flies, and Terminal Gear.

There are no minimum stays. Feel free to create your own Fly-Fishing adventure.

* Rod Fee of $100.00 per angler on all private waters off-site of Rawah Ranch.*

Standard Rawah Ranch reservation policies apply to all multi-day Fly-Fishing adventures.

Fly – Fishing 101,201 & 301 progressive instructional packages are available for beginners, families and Groups.

Please note that we have a full inventory of equipment for those who do not have their own – rods, reels, waders and wading boots.

A valid Colorado State Fishing License is required by Law for anglers 16 years of age and older.
